Donations to the Lieder, however they come, help our Company maintain its beautiful historic building, including essential repairs and updates, technology and furnishings upgrades, and essential safety improvements. Built in 1929 for the Goulburn Liedertafel Society (founded in 1891), the Lieder Theatre is the home and heartbeat of Australia's longest continually running theatre company and Goulburn's vibrant arts community. As a not for profit organisation, all proceeds from productions go straight into funding future productions, drama classes and workshops, and the general running of both the theatre building and the Company itself. We rely on your generosity and support to keep us alive! Donations over $2.00 are tax deductible.
