William studied theatre and music in Vienna, Austria. He worked as an actor, director, set, lighting and sound designer in several European countries.

Coming to Australia and settling in Sydney, he was involved in theatres like the Independent (Measure for Measure), Nimrod (Faust), New Theatre (Youth Theatre Group) and others.

He was a producer, actor and scriptwriter for You Say The Word for WINTV. His puppet company Parvati toured Australia, New Zealand and Europe for nine years. He joined the Lieder Theatre in December 2021.
