REGISTRATION
The Lieder Theatre Company is seeking performers, backstage crew, lighting and AV technicians, and creatives for our upcoming production of Through the Embers, performed at the Lieder Theatre in September.
Through the Embers is written and directed by Cara Robinson as part of our 2025 Local Writers Showcase.
SUMMARY
Sometimes when things burn, new and beautiful things grow.
Through the Embers follows the journey of two eleven-year-old best friends overcoming trauma and finding pathways to healing through friendship and connection. A heartfelt exploration of recovery and growth.
PRODUCTION DETAILS
Cast requirements:
2 x female youths 11-13yrs
1 x female youth 15-16yrs
2 x adult women 30-40yrs
Auditions:
Auditions will be held at the Lieder Theatre on Thursday 17 July from 6pm.
All interested parties are encouraged to attend, and should complete the registration form below.
Rehearsals:
Rehearsals will commence on Thursday 24 July and will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-9pm, and Saturdays from 10am-3pm until the performances. Additional rehearsals may be required, and will be discussed with the cast and crew as appropriate.
Performances will be held on:
Friday 26 September, 7.30pm
Saturday 27 September, 2pm & 7.30pm
