David made his debut on stage at the age of nine in the Rockhampton Little Theatre’s Wizard of Oz, and subsequently appeared on the small screen (briefly) with the crew from Aunty Jack in the ABC’s Flash Nick from Jindavick. For the Lieder, David has performed in Old Time Music Hall directed by Stan Henderson, Round and Round the Garden, Equus and Table Manners directed by Judith Boyd, and Away, Forks’n All (a feast for peace), The Ballad of Mary Ann Brownlow, The Memory of Water, Footrot Flats, Noises Off, Macbeth, Ladies Night, Ned Kelly, Cloudstreet, The Jungle Book, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Sinbad, When the rain stops falling, Calendar Girls, Miles Franklin: a Brilliant Career, Communicating Doors, The Shaughraun, Moon over Buffalo, Much Ado About Nothing, A Streetcar Named Desire, The Women of Lockerbie, The Peach Season, Journey Through the Impossible, The Touch of Silk and last year’s Strictly Murder. David has worked backstage for many of the Lieder Youth Theatre’s Fire Shows. For the Argyle Society, he appeared in Godspell, The Grand Duke and La Belle Helene, and co-wrote and directed Who Murdered Lenny the Louse.
