Pauline has been our wardrobe manager and costume designer for many years. She joined the company in 1992 to stage manage Peter Pan and has since been involved in all aspects of the Lieder. As well as being production manager for many shows, her performances at the Lieder have included The Women of Lockerbie, The Laramie Project, Comin’ Home Soon, When the Rain Stops Falling, Stepping Out, Talking Heads 2, Cloudstreet, Quandary, Macbeth, Table Manners, The Odd Couple (female version), Round and Round the Garden, Inheritance, The Ballad of Mary Ann Brownlow, Come Back to the Five and Dime Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean, Minefields and Miniskirts, The Beauty Queen of Leenane, Habeas Corpus, The Removalists, La Dispute, Hamlet, Oliver Twist, Wind in the Willows.
Dancing at Lughnasa, Alice in Wonderland, Under Milkwood, Blackrock, Gathering the Dust, Dark of the Moon, On the Bridge, The Vagina Monologues, On a Day in Summer in a Garden, Out of the Frying Pan, Forks’n All and The Man Who. In 2007 Pauline directed our foyer production of The Homecoming of Beorhtnoth, and in 2014 was assistant director for the Lieder’s world premiere of Life’s a Bitch by local playwright, David Cole. Of the many shows she has costumed for the Lieder, 2015’s Much Ado About Nothing and 2016’s Pippin were stand-outs, while last year’s Baskerville and Journey Through the Impossible were incredible feats. Pauline performed as Lady Macbeth in our 2017 Shakespeare on the Run.
